Audra Blaser (Founder and Acting Teacher):
Audra Blaser is an acting teacher, actress, and acting coach based in Chicago, Illinois. She holds a BFA in Acting/Music Theatre from Carnegie Mellon University’s prestigious School of Drama, as well as an MA in Theatre History and Criticism from the University of Colorado at Boulder. In addition to being the founder of Two Roads Theatre Project, Blaser has served as an Adjunct Lecturer of Acting at Northwestern University and Instructor of Acting at the University of Colorado. She has additionally taught theater for institutions such as the Colorado Shakespeare Festival, Boulder Valley School District, Chicago Public Schools, Olive Tree Arts Network, and Skyline Studios.
As an actress, Blaser has over twenty-five years of professional experience working in film, television, and theater in the New York, Los Angeles, and regional markets. Her work includes roles in the films Bandidas, Wedding Daze, Suburban Girl, and A Novel Romance. Television credits include Law & Order (NBC), The Book of Daniel (NBC), Rules of Engagement (CBS), 3 lbs. (CBS), Sherri (Lifetime), numerous pilots, and the leading role on the TBS show Lovebites. Along with her on-camera work, Blaser has performed in theater productions across the US, most notably Off-Broadway at The Public Theater in New York City, and has performed leading roles in the musicals Happy Days (directed by Garry Marshall) and The Toxic Avenger (directed by John Rando). She has also appeared in many national commercials and in print work for SELF, Cosmospolitan, and Redbook magazines. She is a longstanding member of Actors’ Equity Association (member since 2001) and SAG-AFTRA (member since 1991).
