Audra Blaser (Director and Acting Teacher):
Audra Blaser is an acting teacher, actress, and acting coach based in Chicago, Illinois. She holds a BFA in Acting/Music Theatre from Carnegie Mellon University’s prestigious School of Drama, as well as an MA in Theatre History and Criticism from the University of Colorado at Boulder. In addition to being the founder of Two Roads Theatre Project, Blaser is an Adjunct Lecturer of Acting at Northwestern University, has served as an Instructor of Acting at the University of Colorado, and has taught for institutions such as the Colorado Shakespeare Festival, Boulder Valley School District, Olive Tree Arts Network, and Skyline Studios.
As an actress, Blaser has over twenty-five years of professional experience working in film, television, and theater in the New York, Los Angeles, and regional markets. Her work includes roles in the films Bandidas (with Salma Hayek and Penelope Cruz), Wedding Daze (with Jason Biggs and Isla Fisher), Suburban Girl (with Alec Baldwin), and A Novel Romance (with Steve Guttenberg), while television credits include Law & Order (NBC), The Book of Daniel (NBC), Rules of Engagement (CBS), 3 lbs. (CBS), Sherri (Lifetime), numerous pilots, and the starring role on the TBS show Lovebites, produced by Paul Reiser. Along with her on-camera work, Blaser has performed in theater productions across the US, most notably Off-Broadway at The Public Theater in New York City, and has originated leading roles in the musicals Happy Days (directed by Garry Marshall) and The Toxic Avenger (directed by Tony Award winner John Rando). She has also appeared in many national commercial campaigns and in print work for SELF, Cosmospolitan, and Redbook magazines.
She is a longstanding member of Actors’ Equity Association and SAG-AFTRA.
